SDCC - Premios Eisner 2005

A continuación os dejo el listado completo de los premios Eisner 2005, que fueron entregados en San Diego por primera vez sin la presencia del maestro Will Eisner, a quien deben su nombre. Al final los premios estuvieron batante repartidos, siendo los "grandes triunfadores", con dos premios cada uno, Brian K. Vaughan, Kyle Baker y Eric Powell.

- Mejor historia corta: “”Unfamiliar,” por Evan Dorkin y Jill Thompson, en The Dark Horse Book of Witchcraft (Dark Horse Books).
- Mejor número único (o One-Shot): Eightball #23: “The Death Ray,” por Dan Clowes (Fantagraphics).

- Mejor publicación sobre cómics: Comic Book Artist, edotadp por Jon B. Cooke (Top Shelf).
- Mejor libro sobre cómics: Men of Tomorrow: Geeks, Gangsters, and the Birth of the Comic Book, por Gerard Jones (Basic Books).
- Mejor diseño de una publicación: The Complete Peanuts, diseñado por Seth (Fantagraphics).
- Salón de la fama por decisión del jurado: Lou Fine; René Goscinny y Albert Uderzo.
- Salón de la fama por decisión del público: Nick Cardy, Gene Colan, Johnny Craig, Hugo Pratt.
